Let's Fall In Love!

Karla here today, and even though it technically is still summer, but we have evidence of the Fall season all around us - school is back this week, the leaves are just hinting at turning golden yellow and there are so many cute fall stamps and papercrafting products that it's hard not to get just a wee bit excited!

When you see this adorable Harvest Happiness stamp set from Pretty Cute Stamps you'll see what I mean! I just love it - it's not just the super sweet little boy scarecrow, but there's also a sweet little girl scarecrow in this set! And, of course all the fun fall accessories - a cornstalk, hay bale and sunflower to name a few along with all the awesome sentiments....

 Harvest Happiness
I love this sweet sentiment in the set that I stamped on the front of my card - and I felt like this scarecrow couple just needed to share their love! The zig zag stitching was done with the stamp from the Sew Amazing set - it made the perfect outline around the border of my background, and the heart comes from that set too. I used some Perfect Pearls mist to spritz a bit of shimmer onto my card after I had everything placed where I wanted.

I coloured the images in with Prismacolor Markers after stamping on white cardstock I used a black pen to add some vines to the pumpkins, added some glittery Stickles and used foam dots to pop up some elements on the card.

I used the pumpkins from the Little Pumpkins set - one of my Fall 'must have' sets!

Inside, I stamped another sentiment inside a pumpkin, added another heart button and one of these awesome cornstalk stamps.

Here's a look at the other two sets I used:

VersaMarker Pen

Sending Smiles

Hi Stampers!
I have a card to share with you that I made using the
Pen Pal 2 set.  It has such cute little characters and sentiments in it!

See what I mean?  So cute!!

I started by stamping the girl and the dog onto watercolor paper with Memento black ink.
Then I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color the images.
I cut the images out and popped them up onto some die-cut layers on the front of the card.

After stamping the sentiment, I cut it into a sort of wavy banner shape and popped it up with some foam dots onto the card.
It was so much fun to color that dog all spotted!
You can find this set along with many more adorable stamp sets
at the Pretty Cute Stamps online store.

Thanks so much for visiting!
Happy Stamping!

Beep Bop Boop

Hello friends. Larissa here today with a card I made using two different stamp sets.
First off I am using the little girl robot. sentiment and gears from
BOTday

Then I am using a sentiment and the nuts and bolts from
Gears to You.

So I stamped the little robot on a piece of white cardstock I had die cut with an oval. I colored her using my Copic markers: C0, C1, C3, C5, RV13, and RV14.
For the pattern paper I made my own. I used Slate Gray ink and stamped the gears, nuts and bolts all over a piece of white cardstock.

To finish the card front off I added a few light pink sequins and wrapped some pink and white twine around the bottom of the card.
I adhered everything to the cardbase which I wanted to keep the white on white look.

For the inside of the card I kept it simple with just stamping one of the sentiments and the little robot in the bottom corner.

Hope you enjoyed my card today.

Have a wonderful day friends.

Pick Up Your Pals

Pretty Cute Stamps' Little Pumpkin set
is a autumnal way to give your pals a little pick-me-up.
With cute sayings for friendships and halloween,
this set is not just for fall!

I focused on the ombre effect for this
friendship card. Can you find the three uses of ombre?

1. the washi
2. the watercolored pumpkin character
3. the sequins

The sentiment isays "If Friends were Pumpkins, I'd pick you."
(That embossing shine is a little tricky to photograph sometimes.
But I typically emboss everything!)

Ooh...I'm loving this card, espeially since I am not much of a technique crafter.
So, what is your favorite technique?

Thanks for stopping by today.
Stop at my private pumpkin patch sometime...

If Friends Were Pumpkins...

Hello friends. Who is already thinking of Halloween? I am! It is not a shocker really. With all the cute stamps that Pretty Cute Stamps has, it is easy to get started.
Today I am using the newest Little Pumpkin set.

I stamped 2 of the little pumpkins onto a scallop circle. I colored the pumpkins with my Copic makers.

I found some Halloween pattern paper in my stash and decided to use it for my card front. I used a few different pieces to make up the front. I finished it off with a cute little paper bow.
Don't you love the sentiment?

For the inside of the card I left it simple.
I stamped the pumpkin in orange ink and then the little
Happy Halloween sentiment.

You can do so much with these little pumpkins. I will be making a lot of fall and Halloween cards with this set.
Don't forget we have out monthly challenge going on right now.
You can enter your card Here!

Have a wonderful Wednesday friends.

The Pumpkin Patch!

Karla here today, and I am sure enjoying summer, but these Little Pumpkins are really making me look forward to fall! They are so happy and cute with these adorable faces you can mix and match - how can you not smile when you look at these guys?!!

I pulled out some papers from my 6x6 paper pads to use on this card as well as using a Spellbinders frame diecut which I cut from watercolour paper. I used some Distress Inks on the frame and then spritzed with Perfect Pearls spray mist to blend the colours and give it a shimmery look.

I stamped the pumpkins on various orange patterned papers from my stash, added the faces, and used Prismacolor Markers and a white gel pen to colour in the face and stems.

I chose a Happy Halloween sentiment for my card - I'm sure a friend is going to love it when Halloween comes around! I used some of the star stamps from the Superheroes set!

Here's a close up of the set:

RoboShaker

Hi Stamping Friends! Thought I would shake things up a bit with this adorable robot from the

To create this card, I used a die to cut the opening for the shaker in both the card base
and the purple layer.  Then I used my Fuse tool to make the shaker pocket which I filled with all
sorts of fun beads, sequins and gears stamped from the BOTday set.  I used a bigger die to cut the white layer, then embossed it with a gear embossing folder and highlighted the gears with some
gray Distress Ink.

I stamped out the robot and balloon and colored them with Spectrum Noir markers.  I used foam dots and glue to attach the robot and balloon to the card front, as well as the greeting which is also from the same set.

I used a white gel pen to put some little white dots on the robot's cheeks and tongue,
just for a little added cuteness :)

Inside the card, I used three stamps to create the greeting.  You can see here that when the card is
open, you can still see all of the fun stuff inside of that shaker pocket.

Here is the full BOTday set.  You can find this set at the Pretty Cute Stamps Store along with
many more!!

Thanks for visiting Earthling, and Happy Stamping! :)
